Limelight Medical Aesthetics was created by Dr. Tyler Darnell in an effort to bring joy and confidence to anyone that seeks it. At the core of Limelight’s practice, is inclusivity. Your gender, sexual orientation, race, nor income should limit your access to aesthetic medicine. Offering services ranging from drug store skin care consults to dermal filler and wrinkle relaxers, Limelight has a treatment for your aesthetic journey.
Limelight Medical Aesthetics is located on the third floor of the 2100 Building on the corner of Broadway and 21st St, in NE Portland. For your convenience, there is a parking lot and elevator.
If you want a concierge experience, Dr. Tyler can come to you for personal care or to host/attend your next "botox party".
Our commitment to the environment started on day one. With the necessity for sterile, individually wrapped, single use tools and products, medical practices face unique challenges regarding waste. In an attempt to lessen our impact, all plastic film, paper, cardboard, and glass is separated and recycled through public and private companies. Additionally, in an effort to be paperless, we ask all our patients to fill-out and sign all consents and questionaries online. Finally, as we grow, we commit to researching and purchasing refillable and reusable containers and solutions that safely complement our treatments.
Dr. Tyler Darnell, MD
Dr. Tyler is a board certified emergency medicine physician in Portland, OR. He grew up and obtained his education in the Southeast, graduating from Mercer University School of Medicine in GA and completing his residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute in VA.
Dr. Tyler is passionate about emergency medicine and continues to serve the community in the emergency department. However, with the COVID pandemic, overflowing hospitals, and burnout, he sought to expand his practice to not only bring joy to patients, but also himself. His personal interest in aesthetics and cosmeceuticals, combine with his procedural skills and detailed assessments, creating a one of a kind aesthetic experience for his clients.
He has trained locally and internationally to provide the best experience possible for his patients.
He is a member of the AMS and AAAM.
Logan Paszek, Certified Advanced Esthetician
After spending 11 years in Kansas, Logan has always strived to create a safe, inclusive environment where body positivity and individuality is celebrated.
In 2017, she became a certified advanced esthetician, helping to spread self-confidence and clinical knowledge to others.
Results and comfort are Logan’s top priorities when it comes to caring for her clients. She has a passion for providing clinically-proven, corrective skincare for all skin colors and concerns.
