AQUAGOLD® fine touch™

Aquagold fine touch is a topical treatment for skin quality, acne, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation.

How Aquagold fine touch works

AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is a one-of-a-kind treatment that addresses multiple skin issues. It really shines in improving skin quality. And since skin quality is considered the number one factor in aging, it is a top treatment for more youthful, healthier skin.

AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ uses 20, 24k gold microchannels to directly inject ingredients into the skin. It has the benefit of microneedling, by causing microtrauma and activating collagen production, while also getting ingredients into the dermis creating instant and lasting results.

Limelight Medical Aesthetics uses the power of AnteAGE growth factors and cytokines to stimulate collagen and address skin quality. By including other ingredients such as TXA or botulinum toxin, we can customize the skin booster treatment to specifically address the needs of your skin.

  • Prior to Arrival

Prior to arrival, you would have received a questionnaire and consent for treatment. We will review these forms with you and answers any questions you may have.

    Photos

We do photos with each visit. Having photos shows your progress through the aesthetic journey.

    Preparation

Once images are obtained, the skin is cleansed and a light numbing solution is applied.

While the solution sits, we will mix your solution ingredients and prepare the device. This is a great time to discuss other skin concerns or treatments.

After 15 min, the numbing solution is removed with alcohol.

    Application

Now sit back and relax, while we press the device into your skin to infuse the solution. There is pressure from the device, but is otherwise painless.

    After Treatment

After the treatment, we will apply AnteAGE serum and accelerator to get the ultimate benefit.

    Complications/Side Effects

Skin infection/irritation: because we causing microtrauma to the scalp, irritation and infection are possible. Both of these complications are rare and preventable with proper care.

  • Day 1: Immediately after treatment, your skin will be flush from the 1000s of microinjections. You can see an immediate improvement in fine lines and pores from the hyaluronic acid.

Day 2-5: Your skin will feel hydrated and plump.

Day 6-30: The neuromodulator will activate during this time and you will see a more dramatic difference in pore size and sebum production. Your acne will likely improve around Day 21.

Day 31-onward: The microtrauma for the injections, in combination with the AnteAGE growth factors, are encouraging collagen production and inhibiting melanin production. Your acne may also be resolving, thanks to the neuromodulator’s effect on sebum production. It's time to schedule your next AQUAGOLD finetouch treatment, as it is most effective when done in a series of 3, at 45 day intervals.

Science + Education

The skin is composed of 3 layers: the epidermis, the dermis, and the hypodermis. The epidermis is the outermost layer and is, at most, 0.15 mm thick. Importantly, if contains melanocytes, the cells responsible for skin pigment and keratinocytes, the dead skin cells that provide a protective barrier. The epidermis is also where the sweat glands, sebaceous glands, hair follicles and skin stem cells originate.

The layer under the epidermis is called the dermis. The dermis is responsible for collagen and elastin production, as well as ground substance, and provides the structure and hydration for the skin.

By directly infusing the epidermis and the dermis with growth factors and neuromodulator, the skin stem cells are stimulated, the healing cascade activates collagen and elastin production, and we treat the muscles that dilate pores and produce sweat and sebum. By adding tyrosinase inhibitors (ingredients that block the enzyme that stimulates melanocytes to produce pigment), we can also correct hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

Integrative and complementary treatments include chemical peels, wrinkle relaxers, and skincare.
